Allen Chickering
Allen Chickering better known in the world of comics as VANDAL was born in the state of Texas in 1968. Allen has been an artist all his life, and prides himself in his work. After achieving entry-level graphics art training in high school, he moved on to Texas State University to further his studies. Ten years ago, living in a cramped apartment he found himself with no room to pursue his love of oil painting, so he moved on to inking comic books (Lucky for theBORDERHOUNDS Team!!!). Chickering was first published in some freelance work for Lone Star Press, and has since worked for Panday Studios and Atlantis Studios. "Vandal is the man! You can send him three pages expecting it back in a few days, and they show up the next day… I love working with him, he's a true professional" says Will "Brimstone" Kaye. "I love coloring Allen's work, his line work is a pleasure to work with," says Colorist Jasen Smith.
